The standard flat blade disc turbine model/Pitched Blade Disc Mixed Flow Turbine Impellers is also called rushton turbines, has 6 flat vertical blades. Rushton turbines should not be used for solid-liquid mixing applications because radial flow turbines do not suspend solids to obtain the least power input.
